In August 2006 I left Sydney and so had to finish my 5-year involvement in the ambient radio show Ultima Thule. This public radio show is the longest-running program of its kind in Australia and it was a privilege to be on board. It continues today with rotating hosts and is currently heard on community radio stations 2MBS-FM 102.5 Sydney, 5MBS-FM 99.9 Adelaide and Artsound FM 92.7 Canberra. It's also carried by some other stations around Australia who take the Community Radio Nework (CRN) program feed. An extensive MP3 archive of past shows is maintained at the Ultima Thule website by the show's founder George Cruickshank.
